I can put any bog standard laptop SATA drive in my PS3, why can't MS do the same?

There's a drive you can get for a 360, but only one type and size works or something?

Yes this is the drive. There is a post i've made in the xbox section on how to flash this drive so you can use it.

Although its still rather expensive at Â£63, its a darn site better value than the Â£59.95 shops currently still charge for the old 20GB hard-drive.

It's not available anymore and i hear it was an error. I might hack a normal HDD for Â£36 after christmas.
