360 Memory Upgrade Offer

As the upcoming dashboard update will require 128MB of free space to run this may leave 360 arcade users in a bit of a pickle. MS have announced a scheme to offer eligible users a refurbished 20GB hard drive or 512MB memory card for £12.99.

Re: 360 Memory Upgrade Offer

I wonder what will happen to the Xbox360 arcade SKU from this point forward then.... If MS are dishing the memory cards out for nothing I wonder if they will just throw them in with the retail units.

Re: 360 Memory Upgrade Offer

Seems like a good way to pick up a 20GB HD for £13, as I'm on my third XBOX, the first being a premium and the next two being core's I'll qualify for a cheap HD instead of the dopey price of £60.

Re: 360 Memory Upgrade Offer

Good Idea. My second 360 was a core so I should in theory be eligible even though I still use my HDD from my Premium.

I think that I shall go for the memory card rather than the HDD.

Re: 360 Memory Upgrade Offer

MS should have given the 360 a HDD as *standard* from launch - none of this "Core"/"Arcade" nonsense.
