Call of duty 5 - multiplayer beta - now public!

Who's tried it?

I pre ordered it for my PS3, then got a code for the offical site, 2 days later i get a code for a beta trial on the Xbox

(thank god i have both!)

IMO it's slower than Cod4 but still plays pretty well, i prefere the weapons in Cod4 though. It's always fun to join a game and get a 5 kill streak straight away

That was quick!

Still, at least their site held up a little better than when they gave away LBP keys a couple of weeks ago (they did say they'd beefed it up this time lol).

So... COD4 engine with WWII guns & maps.

Gave up on using my headset quite quickly. Fed up with the usual loudmouth idiots like on COD4.

Drove a tank on one game

Died a lot in all games

Same engine, very similar graphics, same feel, etc.

Even has the same kind of ranking, barracks, perks, etc., so anyone who's played COD4 should be at home with it.[Well, prob. not all the same perks, but certainly a few similar ones]
