New Xbox Experience looking improved.
The up coming dashboard update is looking even more improved since we last had a glimpse of it.

Looks good.
The nipper's not going to be pleased at all.
She loves flicking through the coloured blades.

Re: New Xbox Experience looking improved.
It looks awful...
Blades are fine, but, in a way, i want the avatars cause they will be fun in shooting games where i can kill them
or... they could be crap in games and ruin it all.

If you don't like the look of the new Xbox 360 Dashboard unveiled at E3 last week, then "you don't actually have to use it," says Microsoft's Xbox Live director of programming Larry 'Major Nelson' Hryb.
According to The Major, every single function available in current 360 backend will be included in the new, clean-looking Dash', which you can bypass completely if you choose.
"I know that there are some people that aren't going to like the happy, happy, shiny New Xbox Experience. For whatever reason it's not flipping their bit," Hryb said in his latest podcast

Re: New Xbox Experience looking improved.
I wonder if you can choose to switch between the two.
Probably not, thinking about it.

Why do you think not? The way i've read about the update is that you can switch if you want between the two, rather like the graphical interface on PC's, its you're choice.

Sorry - I read it as you'd probably get the option to change to the new dash during the update but could choose not to. He doesn't necessarily say you'll be able to later or switch between the two?

The 'New Xbox Experience' dashboard can use your downloaded themes (for use in backgrounds) and gamer pics (instead of the 3D avatars) already stored on your hard drive, therefore I'd say that the 'old blade system' will still be functionable(?)
