Xbox Live Very Laggy
Im currently connected with a 30m ethernet cable from my xbox straight into the back of my Be* Box, and its so slow and laggy. Yet when i plugged my laptop into the xbox's end of the cable and did a speed test, i was getting at least 10mb down and 1mb up but very poor ping. Is that the problem?

Thats the speed im getting on a different wired PC, ive never seen the speeds drop below that, they are mostly like 8mb and above. any idea why ive got such a bad connection on XBL?

Re: Xbox Live Very Laggy
May well be the high pings - whereabouts is the xbox in the network?

Re: Xbox Live Very Laggy
try a diff (shorter) ethernet cable to laptop & be box. See if pings improve as you may have a faulty ethernet cable. Alternatively just try at a different time of day...
