Ace Combat 6 Fires of Liberation
I know that Mass Effect is officially out on Friday but this is definitely worth a look. Having played the multiplayer demos it's really enjoyable and a decent air combat game on the 360 is well overdue. Overall the reviews I've seen have been excellent, eg:

Re: Ace Combat 6 Fires of Liberation
I don't know about the sticks but they look a bit plasticky and crappy anyway. Microsoft are supposed to be releasing the controller APIs to third party hardware manufacturers so hopefully you'll be able to use stuff like the Saitek X flightsticks at some point.

Re: Ace Combat 6 Fires of Liberation
EDGE gave this 8/10, & gamesTM gave it 7/10.
Both quite liked it
With so much else out, though, & with so many games already sitting by my 360 waiting their turn, I think this can wait 'till it gets cheaper.

I picked it up on Friday, just get it now - well worth full price.
Online co-op is pretty good, but should have more than 2 missions though, hopefully they'll release more through the marketplace.
Overall, I'd say 9/10, loses 1 point for not having more co-op missions.

Re: Ace Combat 6 Fires of Liberation
It is overall an excellent game: you just pick it up and play, there's no learning curve like the more sim oriented air combat games like Falcon 4 with it's 700 page manual and 1/3 of it dedicated to the radar modes
The graphics are superb and the sheer size of the battles is huge, both in terms of units on the ground and in the air on both sides. If you don't pull your finger out then your ground forces start to get overwhelmed and all this can be heard over the radio chatter.
Despite being more of an arcade style combat game don't be fooled into thinking that everything is easy to shoot down because it isn't. Some of the more challenging opponents take a fair amount of skill and out-manouevring to take out.
