Re: Xbox 360 Fall Update - December 4th 2007
You're forgetting that the 360 HDD is removable, and more can be purchased which I think is Microsofts idea.
Or that they want eveyone to have an Elite with it's 120Gb drive
It's all about milking a product for more money from the consumer

Re: Xbox 360 Fall Update - December 4th 2007
I am sure I read a while ago that Microsoft would be tying the content to your XBL account, but beyond that, there would be no restrictions on the amount of downloads.
So, if you did download an episode of Lost, download something else, run out of space and delete lost, then wanted to see lost again, you could just download it again.

So like you pay for it once they you can have access to it forever in a sense?
Is there a TV list of what will be available?

I don't think thats how the service works in the USA.
I think if you pay for something you get a certain amount of time to watch it before the file expires due to the DRM thats in use.

Yep. It's a rental service only AFAIK.
Don't see why it'd be any different here.
I hope the UK prices aren't a rip-off...

If you'd like to keep your friends list private, you can take the following steps to change your settings beginning today:
Log in to http://www.xbox.com/en-US/fof/ and select one of the three options available for your Gamertag:
* Everyone (only available to members 18 and older)
* Friends only (available to members 13 and older)
* Blocked (available to all members, and automatic for anyone under the age of 13)
Stay tuned for more information about the Xbox 360 Dashboard Update later this month!

... and change your preference to "Blocked", as posted earlier. That way randoms can't find you anyway.
