COD4 Connection Problems

Hey

Just wondering does anyone else get randomly disconnected/booted while playing a multiplayer game online?

Seems to randomly disconnect memebers of the party when the game starts on the multiplayer map chosen.

Just checking if anyone else has the same issues, as I have been having issues with xbox live lately with it disconnecting me and running very slow.

I think its a national thing, I know live was down a few nights ago, but since then mines been fine, is it still playing up?

I take it you mean the Xbox360 version

I haven't come across this yet on the PC version.

Just been trying to connect to a team deathmatch with a party of people on my friends list for the past half hour and we've now given up.

Last night I couldn't connect to any game, kept kicking me out and live was running extremly slow - took around 30 seconds for any message to be sent.

Not sure what is going on at the moment, if its live or if its my net connection from virgin. I know others were having trouble with the game though last night as i checked the forum on charlieoscardelta.com

seems to be a global problem, xbox live just sucks at the moment.

Yep it's a waste of time playing it at the moment. Rainbow 6 Vegas matchmaking is working fine though so it just seems like bits of Xbox Live aren't working too well. It also Takes ages to send a voice message or bring someone's user details up when you click on their GT and the last online times aren't being displayed properly either.

Yeah, it's not your internet connection.

I've seen problems reported on various different forums.

Some say it's the Activision servers, but I think it may be a problem with XBL, as Gamercards etc. have been a bit funny the last couple of days too.

It was working ok last night. According to the motd there was indeed an issue with Xbox Live which was being worked on. Sadly, the majority of people playing the game at the moment seem to be barely literate, barely intelligible morons.

are you refering to our nice american friends lol..

mines been ok last couple of nights, before that we could only do private rooms, which we could fill up no problems, but find match..forget it.

Well, the subset of our cousins who talk like they're in da hood (before mom comes and tells them it's lights out time). I also remember playing in a match with a group of people who may have been British... well I think so anyway. They were calling eachother "bruv" and talking about being stoned but that's about all I could make out.
