Dixons sloooooow

As some people may know I sent halo3 back to Dixons because the box was damaged in transit and the disc was scratched (although I can't rule out 100% that my 360 didn't scratch it)

DHL picked it up on the 19th for nextday delivery (bearing in mind that due to the postal strike the returns labels took ages to get here) now being a Friday It probably didn't get to them next day but on the monday the 22/10

I'm yet to hear from them about the issue, I phoned them up last week and they fobbed me off saying they were waiting on their returns warehouse.

Its been over 2 weeks now since they should have recieved it, Sent them an email this time (couldn't be bothered to wait on hold on the phone) but If I don't get a satisfactory responce) what should be my next course of action.

Re: Dixons sloooooow

The course of action I took long ago was never to buy anything from a DSG store (Currys, Dixons or PC World). Inparticular I've always found the staff in my local Currys and PC World stores to be rude and unhelpful so I'm not surprised to hear that their aftersales service doesn't inspire confidence.

Here's the details for Dixons HO if you need to address your concerns to some higher authority:

Dixons House, Maylands Avenue, Hemel Hempstead, Herts, HP2 7TG

Re: Dixons sloooooow

I think they've managed to mess it up again...

Got a reply to my email saying that it had been passed onto head office for a replacement to be sent out

Followed by another email showing a new order for halo3 at a cost of £0

Then I have a 3rd email timed 1 minute after the 2nd email saying they've issued a refund for the original purchase

I asked them for a replacement OR a refund and if the email is to be believed they've done a replacement AND a refund

Oh well i'm not going to tell them about it their mistake not mine.
