Buying Crackdown to get the Halo 3 Beta invite?

Are you going to buy Crackdown to get hold of a Halo 3 Beta invite?

The Halo 3 Beta invite will be accessed from the options in Crackdown.

I'll be buying it for sure.

I had high hope of winning one of those competitions to get the beta. But that ship has now sailed and the only other option is for me to buy crapdown.

I dont really want the game but the demo wasnt that bad and its got online co-op so its not a waste of money. Plus the beta is why im buying it.

p.s i dont think any of that made any sense.

I've really tried to like this game and for some reason i honestly can't get into it. It just feels like a very strange game to play, and alright graphics don't make everything but it looks like a ps1 game! and the gameplay doesn't even save it, perhaps if Nintendo had made this it wouldn't have been so bad!

Not worth paying Â£40 for either just for an invite to some beta game

I have had the game on order for ages with play.com. Probably won't even bother trying the Halo 3 Beta to be honest.

After trying the demo I think the game is fantastic and the graphics are pretty good too.

I have to disagree that it looks like a PS1 one game! Playing it in HD the game looks fab, it might not be the best looking but its the little things you notice, massive draw distance is the most noticable.

Each to their own but its not a game for me, guess i cant help but compare it to things like GTA etc which I find better. The demo really didn't grab my attention, maybe when its cheaper to buy i might give it a go, but i'm not going to pay full whack for it

I couldn't give a toss about Halo 3 its a poor mans FPS anyway. Give me a PC FPS anyday.

I've bought Crackdown for Crackdown. A game this good does not need any other incentive. Free roaming coop on live with some of the best physics in a game to date and people are questioning the graphics? The graphics are spot on adding to the overall sense of humour that this game has. Fantastic fun.
Oh, and it has the best opening line of any game ever, "It's all gone to **** (brown stuff)". Spot on.

thats your opinion which you are entitled to have, just as I am entitled to have mine that I don't actually like this game, i do think the graphics are crap as is the actual gameplay...don't like it wont buy it. Free roaming might be fun to some people but it can actually get very boring in the end, again my opinion!

Is the Halo3 beta running yet? No getting Crackdown for a while yet (may play some elses copy in the mean time though!

) whats the co-op like on Live? Noticed from my friends list that getting the achievements seems to be quick going, what do you think?

Not running yet as you can't download it. But it's a limited offer so i don't think ALL copies of Crackdown will have it which is the reason i bought it. Haven't tried crackdown yet, i think it'll take me a while to get into it.
