I've connected my son's 360 and computer to a shared monitor via a "switch box". Works well, but I had to adjust the screen refresh rate for best picture.

Oh - welcome to the Forum!!!

Is it an Xbox 360, if it is then you can purchase a vga cable and a switch that will allow you to watch 2 things into the monitor (pc,360)

... and if it's an old Xbox, not a 360, then I don't think you'll have much luck.

AFAIK, MS never released an official VGA cable for the 1st Xbox, & I've read that the various 3rd party VGA cables for the 1st Xbox were utter crap.

You can get one for less than £10 here: http://www.revealcable.co.uk/acatalo...tch_Boxes.html

You'll also need a cable. I've not tried this particular model, but this gives you the general idea...
