Which Cable is right for my TV?

Hi

I'm getting an xbox 360 Premiun (£279.99) for Xmas and wanted to know if I will be able to hook it up to my current CRT TV. It only has a RF and scart inputs. I currently have an onld xbox which came with a scart adaptor which works on my tv. I am not sure if I have to go out buy another cable any help appreciated.

Thanks

Everything you need (cablewise) comes with the 360. I comes with a hd componant cable and a scart adapter so you should be fine.

Re: Which Cable is right for my TV?

am i right in saying that it is similar to the one the old xbox came with which had the RGB cable with a scart adaptor? Is this future proof in that if I get an HD tv it would be able to connect?

Re: Which Cable is right for my TV?

Yes it's fine. The component AV cable that comes with the premium system will work with any HD ready set. There is a switch on the main plug body that you need to flick to "HDTV" mode to support the higher resolutions.

The standard cable that comes with the 360 is pants for a normal standard deff tv. I bought the Advanced Scart cable which emits a proper RGB signal if your tv has a scart that is compatable for £17.99 and noticed a big difference.
