just bought a xbox with halo, sega gt2002 and jet radio (which looks ****).
wheres the best place to get the live kit and do u really need a credit card?
oh and if we got a clan for halo or whatever count me in.

Edit: i heard theres no cheaters on xbox live, is this true? hope so.
i heard microsoft has got some kind of thing so cheaters can't cheat.

The best place to get a LiVE kit, I'd recommend GAME (They did, or still do an offer of a half price LiVE kit with a full priced live enabled game). At present, you will need a credit card to register with Microsoft for the Live service.

With regards to 'cheating' on xbox live it maybe possible with a modded xbox but i believe Microsoft have or are updating the live service to weed out the 'cheaters'. Its not a big problem on LiVE and it won't spoil your fun when online.

There is a clan (as you can tell from my sig!) and we are always on the look out for new members! We play for fun first, winning is just a bonus!

might get a live enabled game then and get it half price if game is still doing the offer, not sure what game to get yet though, thanks for the quick reply m8.

Get yourself some XBOX Live enabled games and add the nthw xbox clan members to your friends list....then we'll try and get you out of the nthw Ps2 clan into the nthw xbox clan! :p

Rainbow Six 3 is out mid November

That was the 1st game i got on my xbox and despite being abit short, i loved it!!

Very hard to come by now as well.

I would generally agree with this list, but if you want Tetris get it for the Gameboy, and if you want an online racing title I personally would avoid Midtown Madness 3 like the plague and go for Midnight Club 2. MM3 got something like about an hour's play before I traded it in (and I almost never trade in games for any reason)

Actually having both MM3 and MC2 (and liking both), I'd recommend you wait for the flood of online racers coming in the next 4 months:

Rallisport Challenge 2
Project Gotham Racing 2
GT Online
TOCA Online
Auto Modellista

Driver3 is a bit further off in April

As for the best offline racer IMO, Burnout 2 is a great and fun arcade racer and Colin McRae 04 is absolutely solid realistic rally game (both games have online scoreboards). Also offline, if you can be bothered, will be NFS: Underground and Ford Racing in the near future.

Don't forget MotoGP and MotoGP2 are very good online bike games.

yeah motogp2 is actually very addictive and i never knew i even liked bike games

o/t about JSRF, it really is fun

I managed to complete it, now whenever i play it it reminds me of last christmas when i first got my xbox. I love the music in it!

might get island thunder m8, saw that cheap in gamestation.
i'll still be in the ps2 clan though

, can't stay away from socom, now if it was on xbox i'd probably just play it on the xbox.

You missed SegaGT Online in there. Its due before all of the above too.
