GR:IT help please

I picked up GT:IT today, and the manual seems to be largely useless, I`m guessing they assume that you have played the previous game, which I have not. I`m managing to piece together most of it from the tutorial and faqs, but there is one point I`m not sure on, and the faqs don`t seem to cover it.

Is there any way to set to the computer players to sweep through an area automatically? One specific example I`m thinking of is the second level, Angel Rage. I want the computer controlled team to actually search buildings without me having to lead them everywhere. I can set waypoints to get them into the camp, but once they get there they just stand around unless I directly control a squad. Is there any way to do this, or is clearing the inside of buildings something you have to do yourself?

Thanks in advance to anyone who can help

What you're after is Rainbow Six 3, which comes out in November :p

GR allows you to set waypoints but not specific clearings like Rainbow will....

Thanks for the info, that is what I had thought would be the case with this game.

I have the original R6 and all the expansions for the PC but didn`t find it particularly enjoyable, GR:IT on the other hand has grabbed me quite quickly.

The original R6 was a very difficult to master without losing a good portion of your team and same with the Eagle's Nest expansion. However Rogue Spear and expansions were superlative (and one of the first reasons to get me into online gaming with a 56K modem) and I couldn't believe the game was surpassed by Ravenshield which has the best tactical single player FPS I've seen to date.

I just hope Ubi doesn't screw up with the apparent changes they've made for Ravenshield on Xbox, but by all indications from X03 it's improved over the PC version.
