Question for you!

I 'think' i probably already know the answer to this...

I have a belkin wireless router (i know you can get a wireless thing for the xbox but im a cheap skate)
I have NTL digital tv and broadband but via a stand alone modem, there are 2 entries into the house, however i can connect the xbox ok via a long cable into the router and this works. My question is however as the xbox is next to the stb, can i use the ethernet connection on the stb to connect the xbox and still use the modem to connect the router/pc??

Re: Question for you!

Nope, sorry, you can't do that. The ethernet connection on the STB will only work if you actually receive your broadband via the STB - as you use a standalone cable modem, you cannot use the STB's ethernet port.
