Not much at all, AFAIK. I remember not long after XBL launched, an ntl tech at the old nthellworld.com did some tests to see just how much data XBL sent up & down, & it really wasn't a lot. Shouldn't be anything to worry about if/when ntl start enforcing the caps.

Re: live bw usage

Well, I assume they could look to see if you have any traffic using the XBL-related ports, but I can't see them bothering.

I've been using XBL via ntl - without using the actual ntl console service - since the "test drive" phase in Dec '02, as have loads of others.

Halo2 does indeed rock!

Have a look at this btw ... http://www.cableforum.co.uk/board/sh...ad.php?t=21324

Re: live bw usage

I have 4 xboxes, i have calculated that for 10 hours play a day (total) we will use approx 4-6gb a month.

There are some discussions on the Xbox forums about it with more accurate details.
if I get a chance I'll look em up & perhaps it can be added to the FAQ here.

Re: live bw usage

I have some very sad news regarding this:

Unfortunately our first bought has just passed away.
Death was horrible, refusing to play & very noisy.

It will be sorely missed by it's sister "Crystal" & Brother "T'box", although it's job was recently given to a newer model which does not seem to care.

At least it will be happy to know that it will eventually be resurected & returned to life (albiet with some heavy alterations).

We go out in search of a new family member this weekend, our youngest child is most upset. lol

To getback OT, unless your hosting big games all day long, it's very doubtful that you would come anywhere near any caps.
I was on for a 2 hours last night, hosting some GR2 coop games & I only used 40mb
