Re: i NEED HELP BADLY GUYS..

1) Do you have a seperate ADSL modem? (I'm presuming not as you are trying to plug straight into the router)

In which case, you need a combined modem/router: http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/...358600-2191833

to the site btw.

Lightbulb Re: I need help badly guys..

If you want my advice, & for a nice stable XBOX Live experience, I would ditch the USB modem & get the combined modem/router I mentioned above.

It will make life much easier in the long run, & also give you stability as USB modems are notoriously unreliable.

Then all you need to do is plug you ADSL line into the WAN port on the router, & connect your [b]XBOX ( or any other device) via a straight through ethernet cable to the LAN ports on the router (of which there are 4)

HTH.

Re: I need help badly guys..

The modem you have is USB but the router only has ethernet connections. The two will not work together.

Re: I need help badly guys..

erm make it hard ? all they can do and have done is stick on a ethernet port for u to connect very easily to a router or an ICS computer. Granted with ADSL u need a modem/router that costs a lil bit more.

http://www.microdirect.co.uk/Product...&source=Kelkoo

that the cheapest even with the £5 delivery charge, it £3 cheaper than Amazon.
