Hey! Found this site through
www.nthellworld.co.uk and thought that was very true
Anyway on with a question. I have the 750k connection and of course an xbox with the USB and Ethernet leads etc you get with it.
I assumed all i would have to do, to get onto XBOX live, is turn off my pc, take out the USB lead and plug in the ETHERNET one, then plug that into my XBOX and i would be good to go.
But when i tried this before it wouldnt detect the IP and DNS settings etc.
Is this a fault on my end? ( didnt turn modem on and off etc ) or is it NTL's way of forcing us to pay more money ontop of the broadband service to access XBOX live??
Note: I dont want to have pc running at same time as XBOX or anything like that. Just simply play xbox live
Thanks for any help
