I can host 8 at a push in RtCW & GR, but my UBR's upstream isn't always too good, so it's usually more like 6.

I can host the full amount for each game.
Although we all have to stand around doing nothing, otherwise we get lag.

I was deliberately avoiding responding to this thread.
But now that I've been baited...
At home:
RtCW 8
GR (if I still had it) 6
UC 8
SoF2 12
At work:
RtCW 16
SoF2 12
UC 16
GR (if I still had it) 16

GR 2
RTCW 6
That's with a 600kbps line. The GR stats are shockingly low!

How is your XBOX connected m8?
..are you using ICS through your PC with a USB network adpater?
..cause that would slow you down a tad

Well aparently a 10 player game of sof 2 is too poor for some people on my friends list, they said it laged, then he went and hosted a 12 player game and guess what? It lagged me out!

The set up is a Pace STB connected to a Netgear router. In turn, the router is connected to the uplink of an 8-port 10/100 ethernet switching hub. This serves two Macs, a printer and the XBox.
Nothing there that's too worrying, really.
