Broadband and Digital TV together?

In the past I have had NTL broadband though I have never had broadband and digital TV together.

I have moved into a new property which has had NTL digital TV in the past but not broadband.

This is the only connection I can find the thinner wire going towards the right is for the phone.

My questions are?

1-Will both broadband and digital TV be serviced using the one wire?

2-What am I expecting the NTL engineer to leave behind.
An NTL cable modem, a set top box in particular one or both?

Thanks

Yes the single cable will run into a splitter so it can provide both Internet and TV if required. I believe that you will be given a seperate STB and a cable modem - everyone I know who has ordered NTL in recent months have been supplied with seperate kit but then my area is on the Langley platform which I believe has always had seperate modems and STBs.
