Small Request: Speed Test From Area...
Can some people provide me with speed tests on NTL 4MB and 10MB in (Grimsby/Cleethorpes) DN32 - DN35 and surround areas please.
I may migrate to Cable from ADSL and would like to know what the speeds are like for this area on NTL 4MB & 10MB. (ADSL ISP wants to transfer to new address with special offer lol)
Thanks for your time
(Small update to a thread around a month ago - my moving date is set now to 11th August )

1st 512K took 1242 ms = 412.2 KB/sec, approx 3397 Kbps, 3.32 Mbps
2nd 512K took 1662 ms = 308.1 KB/sec, approx 2539 Kbps, 2.48 Mbps
3rd 512K took 1513 ms = 338.4 KB/sec, approx 2788 Kbps, 2.72 Mbps
4th 512K took 1512 ms = 338.6 KB/sec, approx 2790 Kbps, 2.72 Mbps
Overall Average Speed = approx 2879 Kbps, 2.81 Mbps
for 4meg, however I use ZoneAlarm, which is known to slow down the connection...

2nd 512K took 438 ms = 1169 KB/sec, approx 9633 Kbps, 9.41 Mbps
3rd 512K took 421 ms = 1216.2 KB/sec, approx 10021 Kbps, 9.79 Mbps

Not the best way for me to do a speed test.
