Strange prob with DS ( via NTL)

Just recently (several weeks) been having an odd problem when accessing the Digital Spy site

When jumping to any section of the main forum page HERE

I can navigate to any of the sub forums ok HERE
but only the 1st page
If I try to goto any of the older thread via the 1 of n | 1 2 3 4 type links HERE
it always fails with a "Cannot find server or DNS Error"

I have desktop and (works) wireless laptop connected to ntl 4mb in Reading area - both show same problem

But when laptop is connected a work - not sure who via but not NTL - those same pages work fine

The above is all via IE

So use Firefox I can hear you all typing ...

But using Firefox, it fails at the same point except the error reported this time is
"The Connection was reset
The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading."

I think its NTL related ?
any suggestions please
