Upload Speed

I've got the 1mb NTL Broadband Cable Modem, and at max I get 125kB/s download, and at max 12kB/s upload. To me, this upload speed I think is really crap, even when you get the 10mb Broadband with 1024kB/s download, you still only get 60kB/s upload speed at max. Thats half of the download speed on 1mb.

I just feel this is pretty crap and I was wondering is there anyway to increase the upload speeds???

Re: Upload Speed

Yep..... go to ADSL If you stay on NTL you are stuck with whatever limitations NTL set for your tier even if it seems a bit low to you.

Re: Upload Speed

ADSL... Is basicly I-net though the standard copper cables, BT provide a ADSL connection for example.
You should say get SDSL then? Upload speed is the same speed as the downlaod.

I would agree that upload sucks, they have upgraded the download speed but kept the upload from the 1.5Mb, 700K, 300k days. Uploading files for emails takes forever.

Re: Upload Speed

Ok SDSL is a bit expensive, and the fact your on 1MB ntl shows you don't want to pay loads.

I don't know about people here but I would rather a upgrade to the upload than download.
