Slow in...well a snail can go faster

Is anybody suffering a complete slowdown in cheshire or s.manchester area?

was in the middle of a clan gaming session went i lost ooooomph and now a speed of 0.18Mbps from 10Mbps, just wondered if it was me or is there a network problem somewhere cos it's so bloody annoying

Like treacle here in Stoke (which I believe is offshoot of Manchester).

Maybe the cables have melted in the heat

And i'm getting a MAX of around 150k/sec on newsgroups when i always get 1250k/sec! I'm in Cambridge.

leeds has suddenly dropped like a stone in the last 10 mins

the speed test won't even run!

edit - it did - a massive 0.18Mbps

I'm getting pretty much 10mbit on the speed test from this site! but newshosting is useless.

I fixed my problem by changing from port from 9000 - 8000 for Newshosting, speeds are alot better but very up and down.
