5kb a sec

when i download im getting like 5kb a second tops normally i get 250kb a sec whats up ive just been upgraded to 2 meg!?!?

Welcome to instability central.

Ok, standard diagnostics. Can you try and download 2 or 3 files from blueyonders gamefiles server @ gamefiles.blueyonder.co.uk. Add the total kbps up, and post back.

Also, run a quick ping to bbc.co.uk and show us the results.

It's possible that you've actually got a fault in your area right now as well.

EDIT: To ping, go to Run, then type CMD. A command Prompt window will come up.
You can then type

ping bbc.co.uk
