Just got 10Mb in Leicester (LE3)
Hi All,
I am subscribed to the NTL 2Mb service and have a standalone NTL 100 modem.
I went to the following page to see what speeds it would let me upgrade to:
https://autoreg.autoregister.net/cgi-bin/cabletier
It said I could upgrade to 'Upto 10Mb', so I ticked the box, submitted , modem rebooted and I'm now on 10Mb down and 500Kb up.

.....and you will be paying £37.99 for it. Do you know that?
It's not a fee upgrade as yet.

Yes, I'm aware of the £37 a month charge for it, thought I'd give it a go for a month. I must say it makes a hell of a difference having the extra upload bandwidth for things like bittorrent.

...and it's definately a Ambit NTL Home 100 modem, which seems to be working at 10Mb no problemo.
