Problem...

I have ntl 2meg cable connection, and have reason to need to change my ip, however i dont know how.
could someone please tell me if it is possible, and how

this is how i do it: open a cmd prompt, start>run>cmd type ipconfig /release unplug all cables from modem for 10-15 minutes plug them all back in open another cmd prompt and type ipconfig /renew works for me everytime

If that fails, try changing the Mac address of your NIC that is connected to the modem (unless you use USB)

Or just change the NIC that it is plugged into
