Just got connected to VM

Hi and first off a thankyou to the forum members for the great info to my recent requests for help/info

I've been connected to VM cable broadband this morning. It took the engineer just over 30 minutes to get things going.

There was an existing connection (originally installed by Nynex, then later Cable and Wireless) so once the engineer had been to the box in the street and reconnected the cable to my property, the connection was live and after a few settings for things like Wi-Fi etc. the engineer was done and was on his way.

As advised by forum members, the SuperHub updated it's firmware and after doing a speedtest (nearly 65 megs down/2.88 megs up ) I logged onto the SuperHub menu at 192.168.0.1 and changed the password as advised and change some of the other settings.

I turned off the Wi-Fi as I want to use my new TP-Link WDR4300 router and all is fine now using the dual band Wi-Fi with the TP-Link.

Thing is, I turned on MODEM Mode but now, I'm not able to get into the SuperHub menu at 192.168.0.1 and I'm just wondering how I do that now that the SuperHub is just connected via Modem Mode?

I guess if all else fails, I can use the 'reset' button on the SuperHub and just turn off Wi-Fi and leave it as is.

Thanks again for any help

The super hub web address is 192.168.100.1 in modem mode.

To check your stats click router status in the top right hand corner.

Re: Just got connected to VM

Hi... many thanks for the quick response and thanks for the info... thats done the trick and am now able to log onto the SuperHub's menu :-)

I'll put a sticker on it to show what the local IP address is now that it's in MODEM mode.

I'll just go and check the router status from the menu.

Thanks again... you saved my bacon :-)

No problem

Don't sign in when checking your stats as it doesn't work for some reason.
