Ethernet sockets

Does it matter which cable is in which socket?

I have a PC, a NAS and a playstation. All need to go into superhub.

Any socket?

Re: Ethernet sockets

Any port will do...Only time it matters is in Modem Mode which requires the router in port #1.

Re: Ethernet sockets

the shub doesnt like being taxed too much so if you start adding more devices to your lan which are going to access the NAS I would suggest running them a seperate switch so the traffic doesnt hit the shub
