Cant access Tumblr
Im unable to access any Tumblr services here in Swansea South Wales and so is a friend of mine in Port Talbot South Wales.
Is anyone else having the same problems please?

That's a DNS issue. Works ok for me using Google Public DNS.

Don't VM have multiple DNS servers at various locations to reduce latency? Just because yours is OK doesn't mean that they will all be.

Of course it is - that's why I pointed out that just because yours was OK it didn't mean that they all were as your post suggested that it wasn't a VM DNS issue when it clearly was.

He did ask if anyone had the same issue which in both mine and Sirius's area it was fine. but no one from his area posted so it is unknown if it was just an issue in the Swansea/Port Talbot area.

True enough but as he was in effect asking about the problem he didn't recognise what the error message was saying which is why I pointed out the cause. He'd already said that somebody near to him had the same problem.
Anybody else on VM DNS in the same area would have had the same issue for sure. Other areas who knows? but it's pretty irrelevant to solving his problem anyway as only trying a different DNS would help.
This site would use an alternate DNS and routing so is handy in checking if a problem is with your connection or the site itself..
