Re: Next Superhub ?

Dreaded N word ? :0) aww come on I have had Netgear routers for years the last was the N600/WNDR3700 which was fantastic ! had no problems with it & currently on my 4th Netgear gigabit switch which again has been flawless. Yes I know people like this brand and that brand but netgear are ok ..I find the superhub ok ish, I run a 95% wired Gb network so any wireless problems don't really effect me (hense I sold my N600).
Ironically I'm having some issues with speed at the mo but think this is congestion & not the superhub.

If you post your TBB monitor results then some better informed members here will be able to give you a better idea.

Re: Next Superhub ?

Hi thanks jem but already been though all that had an engineer out etc. my power levels are good and if I test around 10-11.00 in the morning I get 104Mb 11ms ping etc.

from the time when I get in from work (7.00) it all goes bad 20-50Mb at best 30-50ms ping etc. Had a call logged with Virgin who told me evrything checks out & advised it was congestion in my area .. at which point my heart sank :0( .. "will be fixed by July" apparently (oh no it won't). Keep changing my mind but had an Infinity 1/2 cab installed 3 doors down around March time so might give BT ago .. predicted 80-20. I plan to call VM again tonight buy need to prepare myself for the call as I know it will be 1-2 hours of nonsense with the suggested fix being to remove my antivirus (from my Mac, 3 WIndows 7 machines, Windows Home Server & win 8 test machine .. sigh.
