VMNG300 on 100MB - For Information
Don't want to drag up all the old arguments, but I've managed to 'downgrade' my S'Hub to a VMNG300 and I have my old warm fuzzy feeling back again
I'm well aware I'm not future proof, but will live this this fact until I have to 'upgrade'.

What's your max traffic rate in the operational config section of your modem pages?

Re: VMNG300 on 100MB - For Information
nice one dude, well done. Screw the future proofing arguement, the VMNG300 i more than adequate atm. By the time they get round to dishing out the sort of speeds that will require an upgrade, the shub will be long gone and hopefully they'll have something which is fit for purpose (with a modem mode from the get go just in case)

Re: VMNG300 on 100MB - For Information
Last time I spoke to retentions about going back up from 10 to 30 (before the doubling was announced) they insisted I couldn't keep my VMNG300 and would have to pay for the privilege of having it downgraded to a Superhub. I declined. That was another nail in VM's coffin as far as retaining my custom went.

i am a very laid back guy but stuff like that annoys the hell out of. They dont have any common sense and do their best to be awkward knowing they are going to screw you over

I believe that you can. You may need to be insistent though.

It will also depend on how long it has been off your account as it may have been removed from the inventory, if so its a lost cause.
