Your area possibly hasn't been upgraded to 100mbit yet, hence the best you'll get is 20. We're still on 20mbit where I am.

Surely they can't charge for 100Mb then? I'm having same problem, my speed has dropped since I "upgraded" from 30Mb (which I always got), and now it's round about same as OP. I'm going to give it a few more days, then it'll be a phone call if things haven't improved.

WiFi is unreliable for speed - doubly so with a Superhub. What's it like wired? Mind you congestion is pretty common too these days.

Re: Paying 100mb Getting 20mb
2 to 3Mb/s download here on supposedly 100Mb/s.
I can see VM in Chapter 11 on the horizon....
Meanwhile, contractors are laying new ducts alongside VM's at the other side of Oldham, don't know who they are working for as the contractor is doing it on behalf of a company I have not heard of, but the ducts are coming from an Openreach underground CAB.

The shub's wireless performance is a joke and isnt even worth discussing. Even with a normal router there are many factors which can impeed your speed so the best way to get an accurate measure of your speed is through a wired connection (which I know you have already done). Next thing to do is look at the power levels:
Go to 192.168.0.1 in your browser
Log in
Click on advanced settings
and the i think you are looking for the connection tab. You are looking for a table with 8 lines in it. Copy and paste it in here (for your downstream) and then copy and paste the table below it for your upstream. Anything else in there like operational config (the speed you have been provisioned for) would be good as well.
