ps3 media server and superhub

Hi all,

I have just installed the superhub and i was just wondering if anybody has any trouble streaming content from their pc to the ps3 via media server ? The ps3 can see the content on my pc but the thumbnails just seem to spin round all the time and dont generate if you see what i mean !! Everything was fine before when i had my old modem and using belkin router for streaming,is there anything i should tweak in the superhub settings to remedy this or should i just use my own router ?

Many thanx,Pablo

Re: ps3 media server and superhub

I found as mentioned using your own router helps a lot with PS3 media server, but also make sure you have the latest version installed (1.52.1 at the moment) makes a huge difference.

I had a lot of problems with it not working properly on the previous version that it stopped rendering and just showing all folders as empty etc. So far the 1.52.1 has been working flawlessly for me.

Re: ps3 media server and superhub

I've never had any problems with mine. So the problem is more likely to be interference. Have you tried changing the channel your SH operates on?

If that doesn't work then a new router may be the best option.
