30M 30Mb connection very poor connection today

Our connection goes up and down all day today, giving timeouts trying to access sites, then working perfectly for a few minutes.

I called India and he left me on hold for 10 minutes whilst he "checked status".

I was then told it was a nationwide problem that would take "at least a couple of hours to sort out".

What does your power levels look like? When mine was fluctuating outside spec I had similar error messages in my log.

Agreed. My 30Mb connection has been running like a pack of proverbial snails all day. It started running slow around 7am, and is still running sllloooowwwwwww.

My power and SNR levels are unchanged from what they normally are.

Yes, my connection is still doing this. One minute 30M the next barely 1meg.
Absolute crap. Ever since getting a superhub and 30M the speed is up and down and the wireless is constantly dropping.

Still the same so far today, the green LED for Wired connection often starts blinking and I get masses of timeouts for many different sites, then suddenly it all works again for a few minutes.

I couldn't even understand the Indian guy today... it sounded like he was talking in a toilet!

What are the definitive line/ S:N levels for SHUB operation?

Day 3 of this rubbish, and the Indians all say it's a "big fault that will be fixed in a couple of hours".... I've posted on the support pages, but no reply from VM as yet..

Booted it all up this morning and I noticed that the wireless lamp was lit. I don't EVER use wireless, so I turned that off.

Still the same fault though, it's dropping out every couple of minutes, resetting itself and only one download channel appears.

3 more 30 minute calls listening to tinny music on 150 left me very frustrated.

Perhaps I will get better luck today.... perhaps someone at VM might actually read my thread on the support group?

Remember technical support is on 151 not 150, they do both route you to the relevant section but 151 is the quicker route, also on a Sunday you are more likely to get offshore.

They close at 5pm on a Saturday and reopen at 8am on Monday.
