Very slow speeds
Anyone here in the WN2 area suffering from a slow connection??
We are currently getting less than 1meg (wired connection).
I have done the usual Superhub reboots and checked all the connections and restarted the computer but still the same.
Service status shows issues with the TV service but BB is ok.

Re: Very slow speeds
they might be doing some maintenance. On the odd occasion I have had issues in the past it has turned out to be a 4 hour window on Sunday nights when they planned to do something and didnt tell anyone about it.
If your shub is in modem mode go to 192.168.100.1 and router mode 192.168.0.1. Unless you have changed it the login is admin and pass changeme. Click on advanced settings and copy everything from the connection tab and status tab if there is one. We are looking at your power levels and config etc etc. I am off to the land of nod (we need a snooze emoticon admins), I'll take a look at them in the morning if somebody doesnt beat me to it.

Re: Very slow speeds
It seems to be sorted now, back up to full speeds.

Re: Very slow speeds
Looks like i spoke too soon.
The speed is very slow again this afternoon with frequent loss of connection.
I am even having trouble accessing the service status screen to see if anything is going on.

Re: Very slow speeds
the annoying thing is that your power levels are absolutely spot on so I would think it is a congestion issue. It is one thing having a slow connection but if your modem is physically losing it's connection you need to ring tech support. The ming mongs in India will bum around pinging you and end up booking an engineer. It is frustrating when it is an intermittent fault but the last time it happened to me the engineer came round and said he wasnt going to do anything because every call he had been to that day was for the same thing and he needed to escalate. Needless to say it got fixed asap.
