Internet keeps dropping out

For the last few days I've noticed the internet keeps dropping out. It must have happened 3 times today already. When I check the modem the ready light is flashing, so I am guessing it's not a router problem.

I have no idea what the modem readings should be, so I will post them to see if anyone can give me an idea if something is wrong. I do seem to notice a lot of stuff on the logs that makes me think all is not right, but as I said I'm not very technically minded.

Re: Internet keeps dropping out

There might be work being done in your area. Have you noticed anyone at the cabinets?

Your modem might be shot...

Re: Internet keeps dropping out

I didnt read the log.. firmwares been updated. Has it installed correctly? The OP may want to manually power down for a few minutes then power up again.

Re: Internet keeps dropping out

my internet has been on and off since sunday morning
well its always "On" but it seems DNS is the issue as no names resolve but doing anything via a IP works fine.
a reboot of the modem fixes this for 10-15 mins
