Re: Internet Rebooting Every Couple Of Hours

ok but you said you rebooted it and posted the informaiton after reboot? did you need to reboto because oyu couldnt get online? if so when that happens again before oyu reboot the modem log in and get teh same information you did before and after reboot it could holda key to the problem i say could as until i see it it is hard ot say, events log dnt always log everything unless it is something that is revelent to it ie a flucation in power levle might not be recorded and that oculd be the issue i dnt know until i see your modem information when you cant get online

ready light flashing suggests it a issue with shub connecting ot the vm network, replacing the shub is unliekly to fix it, you require qa tech to investigate

mmmm ive not used the shub in ages so cant remember the pages excately there something i liek to try and get formt eh modem of the shub so please bear with me

log into the modme as normal, in the part about upstream channel look for t3 and t4 timeout what numnber are there?

the event log does nto record it, it is different, my event log hasnt recorded anything for over 6 weeks but i have had t3 timeout in last week

Channel Type 2.0 N/A N/A N/A
Channel ID 1 N/A N/A N/A
Frequency
(Hz) 35800000 N/A N/A N/A
Ranging Status Success N/A N/A N/A
Modulation 16QAM N/A N/A N/A
Symbol Rate
(KSym/sec) 5120 N/A N/A N/A
Mini-Slot Size 4 N/A N/A N/A
Power Level
(dBmV) 52.50 N/A N/A N/A
T1 Timeouts 0 0 0 0
T2 Timeouts 0 0 0 0
T3 Timeouts 1 0 0 0
T4 Timeouts

but the event log doesnt meantion anything, you can only se ethe true timeout sometimes form some modem not all do it i can tbe sure the shub does, or tech support, they can log into the modem with r** t**** and bring up the system informaiton on the modem and see the timeouts if any

i suggest posting othe community forum and advise your getting connection rebooting and whne it does oyu get flashing ready light ask them ot look at the t3 and t4 timeouts if any of your modme/shub

Re: Internet Rebooting Every Couple Of Hours

the scrub doesn't have pages like what u have mate. it just shows downstream and upstream in connection page and t3 time outs are shown in event log.
