Anyone having issues in the Northampton area?

My 50Meg has been terrible recently, used to get great speeds, last couple of weeks it's shocking.

Best bit is I got a letter today advising me of the double broadband thing happening later this year. I'd be happy with what I pay for now, rather than the 2Meg I'm getting!

Well atleast you can look forward to 4Mb when the speed doubling is carried out in your area.

My vermin media speed has gone total **** - 8mb on mk speedtest

from when I was on 50Mbps and which made me decide to downgrade to 10Mbps and ditch VM as soon as Infinity is available - June on the Hardingstone exchange (actually in Gloucester Avenue Delapre). Before year end half the town will have Infinity available which should reduce VM congestion with all those whose fingers have been burned binning them.

I'm on the Barrratt Road, seems there's a few issues in Northampton. I used to have consistent 50Meg speeds until a few weeks ago. Might give them a ring, probably won't get anywhere, but you never know!

Re: Upload faster than Download

Clearly Parts of Northampton are over utilised, as soon as it gets to midnight, when most normal people are in bed, I get good speeds again. Which is crap, I was trying to download a game patch earlier, took 3 hours. Tried it now and it's flying!
