Rather than it being in the 'Coming Soon to Virgin TV' thread I thought I'd create this one for non-TV related discussion

As far as I'm aware how it'll work is that you'll get a offer code to add to your Spotify account
This is only possible from a 'Open' account though. Any existing Premium customer will have to downgrade to an 'Open' account first as it's designed to revert to the 'Open' service at the end of the offer period

So Virgin will send us this offer code through a email for existing Spotify account holders who have Virgins broadband.

Yes, I believe so which is why it's important to make sure you have the right e-mail as the contact address in My Virgin Media

Actually need to correct myself here. Although an e-mail will be sent via your contact address with sign up instructions, the actual sign up is via My Apps within My Virgin Media

Well there will be no problems there as l only use one email address with Virgin.

l have used my Facebook account details to sign up to Spotify so that should not be a problem should it.

So if we are an existing customer with 30mb broadband, can we sign up through My Virgin Media when it comes back up (you would have thought they would have done maintenance overnight on the day they launch a new service) and it will email the code and extend the broadband contract for 12 months.
Or am I going to have to spend ages on the phone explaining what Spotify is to India.

Probably not worth the effort then, I can just imagine the phone call now. It took me two attempts to connect to someone who knew what Tivo was when I ordered that.
