Re: Virgin Media Spotify

Phoned CS at 0930 this morning and the agent didn't know about the spotify deal (kept saying "45 deal" over and over)and despite asking to speak to a supervisor managed to cut me off after 28 minutes of either hold or disjointed conversation.

Re: Virgin Media Spotify

ok, I managed to sign up for (The UK CS rep didn't have a clue, but she looked it up and got it sorted for me:-D). She quoted 24 hours, but I checked and it was there straight away (I told her so she knows for next time!)

However, when I click register on the spotify app I get taken to a "Oops, somthing's broken page" so guess I'll try again later!

I don't know why they can't let you re-contract online, they let you order new products. I don't see what's hard about letting you sign up to your existing product for another 12 months online.

Re: Virgin Media Spotify

I agree! This evening offshore call centre didn't know about offer, transferred me to nice lady in broadband (UK) who couldn't apply offer but did finally get me to somebody in CS who understood what to do. Spotify app now active.

The whole experience is really frustrating and reminds me why I switched my TV away to Sky+ several years ago. The Tivo looks good and it would be cheaper to go with Virgin completely, but Sky CS and website are streets ahead from my limited experience.

I have no problem with calling, but Virgin should actually make their staff aware that these offers exist. I tried phoning yesterday and they didn't even know what Spotify was let alone an offer on it.

There was a full brief out to advise agents of the Spotify deal and offers. Every manager should then make sure their agents are aware of it when they come in. It will also be in the offers systems that agents use

Re: Virgin Media Spotify

Up and running with spotify.Phoned up again and explained the situation and after a few chats with her manager my spotify app in my virgin media had register added to its menu which allowed me to get up and running.Agreed to a new 12 months contract and now have spotify premium for 6 months, really like spotify and use it often, great deal for me
