Re: New upload speeds and Network Management
Liverpool has gone back to May. But I've had the uplift since Feb. This area did used to be on Knowsley though (years ago) so not sure how that works.

Looks like they been upgrading the smaller hub sites before the main ones. Tilbury (now June in the schedule) is part of the Basildon hub of which still says August!
My hostname is like this cpc*-tilb*-*-*-*.basl.cable.virginmedia.com has Tilbury and Basildon in it

How long from them changing the Symbol Rate to 5120 did it take for them to upgrade your area?

Re: New upload speeds and Network Management
I am in Gillingham and looks like I should have had my upload upgraded but I haven't. I am on 20mb with a Surfboard modem.
Is there something I need to do? Od I need the new Superhub?
Appreciate any guidance offered
Thanks
Steve

Re: New upload speeds and Network Management
If you are indeed in an area that has been upgraded then you just need to reset the modem, pull out the power connector and wait a minute or two then replug in again.
You can click on this link to see if you are upgraded. http://apcyberax.co.uk/myubr.php

Re: New upload speeds and Network Management
Rebooted SB51000 modem, says my ubr has been upgraded but still showing upload speed incorrect.
Could it be a problem with my modem?

Re: New upload speeds and Network Management
i have only just noticed yesterday, I am throttled to 25% between midday and midmight for torrent and newsgroups I thought the traffic management was only on upload for 50MBit customers. Oh well, got a year out of it i suppose.

Re: New upload speeds and Network Management
Nahh everyone is affected by the p2p and usenet throttling. Makes their traffic management times slots practically useless on other speeds lol

Re: New upload speeds and Network Management
remember the traffic management is separate to the p2p management, which is also not to be confused with the fair use policy
