sk6 outage?
Hi there,
Is anyone able to tell me if the is a broadband outage in the stockport sk6 area? Spoke to vm cs and all they could do was book me an engineer for tuesday.

Most likely a problem with just you or they would of told you that there is a problem in the area
Engineer should sort it out on tuesday

Just called tech support and there is now a recorded message saying there is a bb fault across stockport and it should be fixed by midnight

Hi DF, checked again and its been updated now with the following:
You will currently be experiencing a loss of
broadband internet service. Our engineers
are aware of this issue and are currently
working to fix it fast. We apologise for any
inconvenience this may be causing. Date Issue raised: September 05 2010, 21:18 Estimated repair time: September 06 2010, 01:17 Fault reference: F001363633

Nice one... if you've got a tech booked, then we will contact you to make sure you are back on... you should get a text or auto voice message to advise about the cancellation in the morning. we can't contact after 9pm

im in m34 area and my connection went off around 10 pm
still not sure as to why yet because virgin said it wasn't a area fault erm lol baffled
they had an engineer booked for today at 2 pm
but i got up at about 6 30 am still down , ha d a cuppa tea checked again about 7 ish and was all working
so i rang virgin back up to cancel the visit as it wasn't needed
a strange 1
