Not really, I have had dealings on the phone with customers in the past and could perhaps amaze you with some stories.

It was many years ago though and nothing to do with the internet (unheard of then) or PC's.

Try the original and if required you can always buy one from ASDA or Tesco for less than £3.

Yes reboot and then check your speed once the laptop is online.

All power levels look fine so a call to support is in order if only getting 10Mb.

Also not however no speed test result from anywhere has been posted so we don't knowwhat he is using as his guideline.

Is it speed test.net (which server)?
Is it downloading from gamefiles? etc etc?

Another good test method I was told about is to try downloading something from http://mirrors.virginmedia.com

I would always use the link below as it is the one we are supposed to use on a call and it gives full instructions on how to calculate the speed unlike other sites.
