TalkTalk users get a better ping to my Virgin UBR.
Hi,
I'm having a big problem with contention (amount of people connected to the same connection I am) and as a result my local UBR (the first key piece of networking hardware that my Virgin broadband is connected to) is oversubscribed.
I've got an admission from Virgin its a problem but they won't escalate it as its below some unrealistically high threshold.
I did some performance tests from a friends Talk Talk connection and they basically showed that someone on Talk Talk can get a better connection to my local UBR than I can!
Despite presenting Virgin support with these statistics they still won't escalate the problem so looks like I'll have to vote with my feet.
