Unhappy Connection keeps going down

Ok hopefully I can get a reason to why this happens on here.

The ready light keeps flashing on my modem and the connection drops, it can do this for many hours. The connection can be fine for a few weeks then will have a period where the ready light flashes.

I have had an engineer out several times but they always say there is no problems, one offered to change the modem itelf which was on of the old ones to the AMBIT 256 that I currently have.

Checking the sticky the obvious problem may be my upstream level yet the engineers say it is ok ?

Im in Sunderland, Tyne and Wear area.

Re: Connection keeps going down

Your upstream power level is maxed out and will require a tech visit to lower the level.
If all the techs you've had out say there's 61 is fine, tell them to call 2nd line when they are at your home for confirmation.

Re: Connection keeps going down

Downstream Receive Power (level) looks dodgey also.

Telling you that there's "no problem" isn't very helpful, if you clearly have a problem.
