Connection problem with Yahoo or Flickr

Odd problem this morning in Worthing (served by Brighton) Broadband works fine but can't connect to either Flickr.com or yahoo.com - all other web sites I use are fine. Is this a DNS problem with VM ?
To be slightly more detailed it appears the service can't connect to the styles server for these sites as sometimes after a long time instead of getting a website not available error, I get an unformatted window appear for the Flickr site at least.

Re: Connection problem with Yahoo or Flickr

There was routing issues this morning, its unclear as to where the fault was ( VM or Yahoo ) due to the fault clearing during investigation.

Re: Connection problem with Yahoo or Flickr

Thanks for the replies - my initial reply was tongue in cheek !
Suspect the problem was with VM as other people I know not on Virgin were able to access flickr normally. Just really wondered what causes this type of problem as it did not seem to be caused by an internet hub going down which tends to slow down a whole lot of sites.
