That is a call only you can make. Is everything working OK ATM? Are you able to do everything you need (internet related)?
The whole point of more bandwidth is to be able to do more than you do already, if you don't need to then there is no point.

Re: 10mb to 20mb BB is it worth the upgrade?
I use 20Mb to get things faster, rather than download more than when I had 10Mb. I'm impatient and I dislike waiting too long
Besides it's handy when multiple machines are using the line - it doesn't slow down so much.

It may depend on where you are, or maybe what times of the day you're using it.
My 20Mb rarely even hits 10Mb.
So the only real advantages (for someone in an over-subscribed area) are greater traffic management allowance between 10am & 9pm ('Happy Hour' at 3pm W00T!!) and a better upload speed.
Of course, those are advantages in a non-congested area too!

Re: 10mb to 20mb BB is it worth the upgrade?
i wouldnt think it would be worth it really. I have 10mb and run a ps3, laptop and desktop through a router-never have any connection/slowdown issues. Nearly always get the full 10 meg, so if you do too i wouldnt really think its necessary to upgrade

Re: 10mb to 20mb BB is it worth the upgrade?
I use 20 meg on one PC and I did this mainly to ensure I never have to worry about throttling. The 20 meg download speed is great though, as is the upload speed (though that could be better...). I regularly hit the full 20 on normal downloads. It's very fast and swish. I would expect it would be a real boon for a multi-pc environment.

It would only be worth it if you find 10Mb doesn't allow you in your home to be connected with your verious consoles and PC's. I have a 20Mb connection and happily play online with my PS3 on Resistance 2 while my partner uses her Iphone on wifi and a laptop for social networking.

If that is the case, why don't you save some money and drop down to 10mb?

Apart from the reasons mentioned (keeping the Traffic Management fairy away, and better upload speed), there is the ever present threat of an 'upgrade' that's supposedly happening this month!
Ironically though, we'll be moving in about two months, although the 'upgrade' will probably cover our new location too.
I'll give them until June, then I'll think about switching to someone like BE (ADSL).

Re: 10mb to 20mb BB is it worth the upgrade?
With me, having had 20meg for about a year or so I can't,won't go back . I have got used to the average 18meg D/L My PS3 runs smooooooth and my overworked Lappy downloads those 'special'files with ease. Once you've tasted the good life you can't go back you just can't.
