Re: Virgin's 50Mb broadband arriving December 15?

rubbish upload speed, america has 2 or 3mb upload with 2mb download speeds, if they can have such high upload speeds with such a low speed then we should have well over 10mb upload at the very least!

Looks like there will be 4 more HD channels coming over next 3 months, anyone know which they are?

Whilst I bid you a warm welcome to the site 'virginruinedntl' Perhaps you would like to discuss this in another thread .. Availability of HD channels has no place for discussion in this thread. Thanks.

I have 100Mbit symetrical at home for less than £55/M, true fibre, you know, not this fake fibre optic but really coax to your house crap.

Also, no stm, no shaping, bla bla bla.

VirginMedia just dont want to spend the money required to actually give what they offer

Also, that would be beside the point, people work during the day and sleep at night, they come home and want to game/download/browse/stream, they pay a good price and should not be shaped for daring to use their connection for a few hours.

Infact, how do you explain the way telewest used to do it then, you know, only targetting users who were doing 2-3TB/M downloading 24 hours a day 7 days a week.

Now you just target everyone.

Hi and

I don't think its probably a wise idea to copy and paste info from the intranet on a public forum. You might get in trouble. Its happened before in the past. You might want to edit the post just incase.

Re: Virgin's 50Mb broadband arriving December 15?

Will be interesting to see once the full rollout is completed what the uptake is like.

I for one dont want it i feel sickened enough with quality as is and am thinking of going the other path and downgrading most of the time i dont see no where near 20mb so 50 would be a bit laughable in these times high upstream would sell more then high download, but so many other people have said the same thing to no avail.

Fatec who is your isp for your 100*100 connection? Is it business or available to residential customers?

I'd like to know this too!

A friend of mine has 2 business 10/10 lines with virgin but would really like 100mb and at £50 that would be amazing!
