They are advertising it with 1.5Mb/s Upload, but it is 1.75Mb/s in reality.

Because you replied to it, you can setup your profile to email you about any replies on threads you replied on....wow, that was a mouthful
Go to UserCP, list subscriptions and you can delete it.
If you go to edit options you can tell the system to not email you on replies unless you subscribe yourself.

They do, the * & then the comment following the * about an inch below it & states you must take a phone line at £11 with it.

They dont say XXL BB and phone for £35.
It states that XXL BB is only £35 when taken with a phoneline at £11.
So clearly to me that is £46 all together.

Come on, let's face it, who is going to fork out 50+ quid when VM can hardly deliver 10mb most evenings in certain areas.

Anyone read that, so the first month will be £51 + £50 + £30 (at the minimum) = £131, hehehe.

I would suggest the the info given at the presser was incorrect..
It will be around 10-12 areas by year end, 50% by March and 100% by Summer..
We will see.. won't we.. I know where my info comes from and I am happy with anything I have said

Re: Virgin's 50Mb broadband arriving December 15?
How does that work out then? Obviously Ashford was slightly different as we always had 1.5Mbps upload apart from the very beginning so not a shock to us. Are they going to give 1.75Mbps and not tell people?

Tis on a different platform that has 150Mb/s (combined) pipe to serving area with no one on it as yet! So a bit of headroom for anyone willing to spend out
